Becoming an Ambassador Queen is an honor and the Ambassador Queens are former National or International Titleholders who will be able to wear their new sash and crown beyond their reign at various events throughout the year (after giving up their title).

Ambassador Queens, like Legacies, are asked and expected (unless extenuating circumstances) to come to the International Pageant annually, and if not, the National Pageant to volunteer, work various areas, emcee and in general, welcome new contestants. If they cannot make it to either pageant, they are still required to pay their dues to maintain voting rights and sash rights as they are able to wear the sash annually at events in their area of the country all year long representing themselves, their platform, and the WOA brand.

Ambassador Queens are nominated directly through the pageant Director, Sister Ambassador Queens or Legacies, however, the Pageant Director solely adds or dismisses Ambassadors.. The term of an Ambassador Queen is one year only starting from the October 2026 season forward unless the Ambassador Queen brings 2 or more delegates into Nationals (automatic renewal), or brings at least one delegate (she will then remain after a majority vote by sister Ambassadors and Legacies). This ensures that new ladies can enjoy the role of Ambassador Queen or those Ambassadors actively working to add contestants can stay on! Ambassador Queens must be pay their dues in full 30 days before the International Pageant (on whatever date it falls on that year) and return calls from the pageant office within 48 hours (per their original signed Contestant contract) to remain an Ambassador. Note: We will call one extra time after 48 hours in case of emergencies but calls and texts that go unanswered for longer than one week will be assumed to mean the Ambassador Queen is resigning for that year.
